Trinkets for the Magpie

We are counting down the days to the Magical Medieval Fayre and making sure that the all important costumes and stall decorations are ready. However, none of that will be necessary if we don't have anything to tempt the magpies out there. So I have been hard at work, creating a variety of wares to tempt all tastes.
Here are a few things that will be on sale on 6 September. More will be joining them.

A pair of sterling silver teardrop earrings with coral beads.

A pair of sterling silver drop earrings with teardrop shaped turquoise and coral beads.

Magical Medieval Fayre

For those of you who don't know, don't remember or aren't part of my facebook group, here is some information about the market that I will be selling at on 6 September.

It is called the Magical Medieval Fayre and it certainly will be magical because they have used some tremendous magic to get me to dress up in medieval costume :-)

This is going to be a market with a difference and will keep all entertained with medieval sword fighting, archery, forging demos, elemental performance art and a cosplay contest. Not to mention over 80 stalls and unicorn and dragon rides for the kids.

For those of you who really want to be daring and get into the theme, prizes will be given for the best magical, medieval costume on the night.

Tickets are on sale from www.webtickets.co.za for R20 before the day and R30 at the gate and gates open at 3pm, with the market going on until late.
If you want more information and to see what other stalls will be there, have a look at their facebook page. You can search it at Neigh-bours Magical Medieval Fayre.
I hope to see you all there.

Defence against the chill of winter.

Winter has truly hit us and the icy bite doesn't seem as if it is going to let us go any time soon. Makes manufacture of such small pieces a tricky feat especially when your fingers are so cold. The outcome, however, is worth it especially when working with bright colour combinations.

A pair of sterling silver drop studs with round, rose cut green onyx and smooth, teardrop reconstituted turquoise.

A pair of sterling silver flower studs with smooth rose quartz balls.

A pair of sterling silver drops with briolette lapis lazuli.

Live at Last on Hello Pretty

At long last my jewellery has gone live and is on sale on Hello Pretty. This is an amazing new website that is really trying to promote the incredible work of South African designers. It's a thrill to be accepted onto this site and to have my jewellery showcased with such an abundance of local talent. Go and have a look at what is on offer and maybe you will find something to tickle your fancy.
